Whew, you’re still reading. It’s true, life happens. According to one commercial, “Life comes at you fast.” We think about our dreams and goals and how wonderful life is going to be when we finally have all that we desire. However, it’s important that we also learn to enjoy the ride.
Do you see yourself as a number one New York Times best-selling author, but yet you haven’t sat down to write the awesome book that’s inside of you? So what. Write a blog post, an article, or a journal entry. Start to get the words that are inside of you on paper and little by little your book will take shape.
Do you dream of landing a massive client who is going to help you exceedingly surpass your financial goals for the year? Pick up the phone. Attend a networking event. Ask for an introduction to somebody that may know somebody else. Sometimes the people that you least expect to help you can offer you amazing connections that eventually get you exactly to where you want to be.
Every day, try to be 1% better than you were yesterday. Compete only with yourself and celebrate the little victories along your journey. You are already excellent, and every day you grow more so.
