What you focus on expands, and when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it.

Whether you like her or not, you would probably agree that Oprah is a successful woman. Yet when you read her story, you realize that she was certainly not silver-spoon fed. Oprah made a decision to concentrate on the goodness that she had in her life, and by starting there, she was able to create an empire.

Whether you want to create positive relationships, brilliant opportunities or flowing finances, take the time to envision yourself having all that you want. This process is called using your “active imagination.” One helpful method is to find pictures detailing the specifics of what you want out of life and pasting them on a large sheet, thereby creating your vision board. (Make sure you put a picture of yourself in the midst of all that goodness). Place the board where you can see it every day and imagine yourself in possession of the items pictured.

Maybe you won’t climb as high on the financial ladder as the Oprah’s of the world, but we can all learn the lesson of focusing on the good stuff. Any vision board will work – Besides a physical board, I also have mine on PowerPoint, and I have pictures of it on my phone. It gives me easy access, anytime, anywhere! Do what works for you.

Have fun,

Lisa

PS – What you think about, you bring about – so think about all of the GOOD you want in your life.

PPS – Doing a vision board with your significant other or your family is also a terrific way to achieve goals together.
