We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the game.

On September 29, 2010, my sister Debbie was involved in a motorcycle accident that could have killed her. Thankfully, it didn’t. However, even after many surgeries on her badly damaged ankle, she is in pain every single day.

Unless you were paying close attention, you’d never know it.

My sister has decided that her pain is not going to define her. She finds joy spending time with her family, loves to travel in their RV, and keeps up a brave front even though she is hurting.

No matter what happens to you, you always have a choice in your reaction. Why not choose to focus on the good instead?
