Tune Into Your Abundance

gratitude collage“Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.” Wayne Dyer

Abundance surrounds us.  We have all the air we need.  The sky, the sun, the flora and fauna of the earth – no matter where we live on the planet, we have access to these blessings.

Just as a fish pays no attention to the water in which it lives, we often take our environment for granted.  It’s good to be grateful for our “stuff,” but what about being thankful for the world in which we live.

If you live in northeast Ohio, take advantage of the Metroparks, our very own “Emerald Necklace” of nature’s beauty.  Whether walking, running or biking the trails, breathe in the fresh air and take the time to “smell the roses.”  Bonus – you’ll get your exercise time in too!

When I find myself in a funk, I like “dirt therapy” – also known as playing in the garden.  My husband thinks I’m weeding, but it’s a tranquil way for me to commune with nature.  To me, it’s like a meditation and I always feel better after frolicking in the dirt.

Take five minutes to appreciate something about nature today. Whether you spend time watching the birds in the backyard or gazing at the stars, it’s a great way to tune into your abundance.

Have fun,

Lisa
