This quote shares the unequivocal truth of the power behind the gratitude journal. If you are not already keeping track of 3 to 5 things every day for which you are grateful, please start today. You will absolutely not be the same person two months from now as you are today.

One of the questions that I get asked most when it comes to a gratitude Journal is, “Does it have to be something different every day?” The answer is ‘yes’ and ‘no.’ You want to challenge yourself to be grateful for as many things as you possibly can each day, because it makes you aware of the many blessings you have. However, you don’t want to discount the constants in your life that you want to acknowledge.

For example, I am grateful every day for my hubby. To add variety to my listings, I may write, “I am grateful that Scott and I had a fun night playing Scrabble last night.” On another day my entry may be, “I am grateful to have a husband that loves and supports me in all of my ventures.” As long as you can get to experience the feeling of gratefulness, you’re on the right track.

Take a moment right now; grab a pen and a piece of paper and write down 3 to 5 things for which you are grateful. Do this every day for the next 60 days and let me know how you feel.
